The world is watching one of the poorest countries trying to rebuild. The 7.0 earthquake that shook the foundations of Haiti has shook the hearts of men and women all over this globe. Social networks, celebrities and new stations are doing their part to bring awareness to the grief stricken country of Haiti. As I watched the coverage, I was stirred and I responded, much like you.
A friend,(Carlos Jinks) and I will be traveling to Haiti on Jan.24th. We'll be on the ground for 7 weeks. Our goal is to provide some media coverage to other areas affected by the earthquake and get video footage back to our contacts and raise support. Several organizations and individuals have shown interest in this trip. Some are looking for long-term projects, while others want some immediate impact. Once we're on the ground, we'll be able to accommodate specific needs.
