I'm reading a great book right now called, Think Orange, it was written by Reggie Joiner.
As I was reading about it's main thought, I felt challenged about another thought.
Let's look at cooperation. History has shown hordes of men working together that have swayed countries and the minds of men sometimes for the better or worse. Martin Luther King orchestrated a march and changed the course of history forever. We can tell countless stories of groups of people that have cooperated to become highly influencial and effective.
Let's look at our own lives. What if cooperation didn't exist. Our marriages would fall apart, our kids wouldn't know the importance of education or see the benefit of working things out. Our jobs would be meaningless and our lives would end in themselves.
If cooperation didn't exist, we wouldn't have certain colors like orange and magenta. We also wouldn't have ligers or woman. Thank God for dirt and ribs.
What things can we bring together to help our world?
In, Think Orange, Reggie Joiner makes the case for church and family.
He said, "Two combined influences make a greater impact than just two influences"
"When Harvard University leveraged its influence with the power of television, the mix of entertainment and education gave us Sesame Street. When a young father decided to combine the concept of family time with the amusement park industry, the world was introduced to the phenomenon of Disney."-Reggie Joiner
Again I ask, what things can we bring together to help our world?
